Why convert Reference List → EndNote
Move a paper's plain-text reference list into EndNote without retyping. This reads a numbered IEEE or APA bibliography and emits the tagged .enw format EndNote imports.
A co-author sends references as a numbered text list. Convert to EndNote (.enw) here and import so each becomes a library record with title, authors, and year.
An entry was skipped or authors split oddly.
Free-text parsing is best-effort: title, year, and DOI are reliable; authors are a good attempt for IEEE and APA styles. Fix any unusual entries in EndNote after import.

Nowhere. The conversion runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your file is never uploaded to our servers. We don't have any servers handling files, there's nothing for us to log, store, or accidentally leak.
Whatever your browser can hold in memory. Practically, this means a few hundred MB on most computers, significantly larger than the 1-2 GB caps that server-upload converters charge for. Very large files (multi-GB) may require closing other browser tabs first.
File interchange. File interchange. The most common reason to convert is compatibility, ENW works in places where REFERENCES doesn't, or vice versa.
